Oliver Lewis Biography for Montgomeryshire and Glyndwr

Oliver Lewis aims to be the best advocate for Mid-Wales, representing the region as its dedicated Member of Parliament. For too long, this seat has been occupied by career politicians more focused on their own advancement than on addressing the needs of this overlooked part of Wales and the UK. With only six miles of dual carriageway in Powys and notorious delays on the Cambrian Railway, it is clear that action is needed.

Addressing Local Infrastructure Challenges

The deteriorating conditions of primary and secondary schools highlight the urgent need for improvement. In Newtown, the aspiration for a General Hospital remains just that—a dream. The Reform Party stands for a complete reset of Britain's institutions, ensuring they effectively serve the citizens without excuses or dishonesty.

Commitment to Accountability and Reform

The Post Office scandal, which should invoke shame for every Labour and Conservative government since 1990, underscores the enormity of the task ahead. If elected, Oliver's first objective would be to unite efforts to upgrade the main trunk roads connecting Wrexham and Newtown to Shrewsbury, while also lobbying for essential improvements to schools and hospitals from Cardiff.

Pushing for Political Change

In the UK Parliament, Oliver Lewis and his colleagues in the Reform Party will advocate for rapid reforms within political institutions. This includes the abolition of the House of Lords and necessary changes to the civil service, ensuring that the government prioritizes its duty to citizens over political spin, apathy, or greed.
