Charles Dodman Biography for Wrexham

A Lifelong Advocate for Wrexham

Charles Dodman has spent his entire life in Wrexham, attending local schools before furthering his education at Manchester University, where he studied Management Sciences. Following his university studies, Charles trained as a Chartered Accountant, a qualification that equips him with the skills to deliver more efficient public services for the people of Wrexham, ensuring better outcomes at lower costs.

A Vision for Wrexham: Fair Prices and Economic Growth

Charles believes that the residents of Wrexham deserve much more than the current status quo. Energy prices are far too high, damaging the competitiveness of local businesses and putting unnecessary strain on household budgets. He stands against what he calls "Rip-off Britain," where too many people are forced to make impossible choices, such as whether to heat their homes or put food on the table. His vision includes stimulating the economy to regain lost competitiveness and create well-paid, high-skilled jobs for young people, ensuring that they can build a decent life in Wrexham.

Advocating for Peace and Realistic Energy Policies

Charles is outspoken in his call for peace, denouncing wars where young lives are lost for the sake of profit. He believes that political leaders rarely send their own sons and daughters to fight and calls for negotiations and diplomacy over conflict. Additionally, Charles is critical of the Net Zero agenda, pointing to countries like India and China, which continue to build coal-fired power plants while the UK is forced to rely on expensive and inefficient wind turbines and solar cells. He argues that this disparity is putting the UK at a competitive disadvantage and driving up electricity prices.

Reforming Taxes and Prioritizing Freedom

Charles is committed to a series of reforms aimed at lightening the burden on working people. He advocates for no tax on the first £20,000 of income, and a zero VAT rate on energy bills. He also supports a strong stance on immigration, calling for immediate action to return illegal boat crossings to France. Furthermore, Charles promises never to support lockdowns again, opposing vaccine passports and defending the individual’s right to bodily autonomy under the principle of "our bodies, our choice."

Protecting Freedoms and Sovereignty

Charles Dodman is a fierce opponent of the "Marxist, Woke, and identity politics" agenda, which he believes is eroding traditional British values. He also supports a full Brexit, including the return of Northern Ireland and the revitalization of the UK’s fishing industry. He calls for an inquiry into excess deaths and demands that the UK leaves international organizations like the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Paris Climate Accord, and the World Health Organization, believing that these institutions infringe upon national sovereignty.

By prioritizing economic freedom, peace, and independence, Charles Dodman is committed to fighting for a better future for the people of Wrexham.
