Devenne Kedward Biography, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Rugby

Devenne Kedward is not a career politician - she is one of the people, and is more than ready to rise to the challenge of championing the interests of residents of Rugby and the villages. Her lived experiences and extensive training have afforded her valuable insight into leadership and representation, along with in depth knowledge of the challenges that retailers and other business owners face. She is committed to improving the town centre into a place that caters to the needs and wants of residents, rather than yet another failed project.

Devenne grew up in Binley Woods before moving to Rugby in 2015, where she currently works as a General Manager for a commercial property investment firm. She has two children, so is well aware of the challenges parents face. Devenne believes that our young people are not being given the support and representation they deserve and will do all she can to improve that, by pushing for more funding to use towards youth clubs, calling for reform to SEND services and ensuring the voices of parents and carers are heard.

Devenne is committed to pushing for improvements at St Cross hospital to enable a fully functional Accident & Emergency Department for local residents. She finds the lack of emergency care in Rugby to be completely unacceptable given the recent rapid increase in population, along with the Tories’ lack of results.

Devenne says:

“Enough is enough - we need reform. If we keep voting for the same two parties, nothing is going to change. We need to break this cycle and repair our country; by scrapping Net Zero, fixing the NHS, lowering taxes, improving education and controlling our borders. Reform UK are the only party ready to do that, representing the true wishes on the British public. It is time for common sense to return.”
