Jacqui Harris Biography, Parliamentary Candidate for Kenilworth and Southam

Jacqui Harris is proud to introduce herself as the candidate for Reform UK in the Kenilworth and Southam Constituency. With a deep commitment to community service and a drive for genuine change, Jacqui is dedicated to addressing the pressing concerns facing the constituency. In these challenging times, it is essential to have a representative who truly understands the local issues and possesses the experience and determination to tackle them effectively.

A Journey of Service and Dedication

Jacqui's journey in public service began at the age of 17, with a career spanning critical roles in Policing and the NHS. These experiences have provided her with a profound understanding of the issues confronting our communities and have honed her skills in effective governance. Jacqui has completed advanced leadership courses in policing and earned CMI qualifications, further enhancing her leadership and strategic abilities. Her eight-year tenure as a District Councillor has deepened her understanding of local governance and the intricacies of grassroots policy-making.

Commitment to Education and Community Service

Education has been a cornerstone of Jacqui's professional development, culminating in an LLB (law degree) and a Legal Practice Certificate, along with numerous professional qualifications. Her decision to pursue public service was driven by a strong sense of duty to her community, a commitment that was reinforced by her personal battle with cancer. This experience highlighted the importance of giving back and making a positive impact.

Jacqui’s involvement in charitable organisations such as The Adventure Corp, St John Ambulance, and Warwickshire Search and Rescue demonstrates her enduring dedication to community welfare and inclusivity. She is especially proud of receiving the George Cross - NHS from the late Queen in recognition of her frontline service as a nurse during the Covid pandemic. As a member of Warwickshire Search and Rescue, Jacqui's team was honoured with The King's Award for Voluntary Service, underscoring the power of collective action and civic engagement.

A Vision for Reform and Progress

With extensive experience at local, regional, and national levels, Jacqui is well-equipped to be a powerful voice for meaningful reform. The challenges we face—ranging from neglected public services to the rising cost of living—require bold and pragmatic solutions.
