Grant StClair-Armstrong

Grant StClair-Armstrong, a native of Saffron Walden, Essex, has a deep-rooted commitment to his community. Born and raised here, Grant's journey has seen him explore various paths before returning to his beloved hometown in 2019, where he resides with his wife Jennifer and their cheerful cockapoo, Candice.

Following his schooling, Grant embarked on a brief stint at United Glass before dedicating himself to the Royal Air Force in the ATC Branch. Post his service, Grant ventured into sales and entrepreneurship, establishing his own successful limited company. His civic engagement led him to become actively involved with the Conservative Party, assuming roles such as Chairman of Saffron Walden Constituency Conservative Association Town Branch and serving as a town councillor for four years.

Grant's life took him to Turkey in 2005, only to bring him back to the UK in 2019 due to health reasons. Witnessing the political landscape and disenchanted with the direction under the Conservative Government, Grant found his calling in Reform UK in early 2023.

Now, Grant is resolute in spreading the message of Reform UK, advocating for an alternative to the prevailing two-party system. He's assembling a dedicated team of volunteers to aid in fundraising efforts and is eager to engage with constituents extensively in the coming months.

Having experienced firsthand the consequences of unsustainable development and inadequate infrastructure in Saffron Walden, Grant is passionate about addressing these issues. He believes that his intimate understanding of the area uniquely positions him to represent the North West Essex Constituency effectively.

"Reform UK resonates with me deeply, especially on matters concerning immigration, Brexit, the preservation of democracy, and freedom of speech," Grant asserts. He invites fellow concerned citizens to join him in making a difference by contacting him via email or phone, emphasizing the importance of reclaiming a voice in local and national politics. Together, Grant believes, they can usher in a new era of political engagement and change.
