Pamela Walford Biography, Parliamentary Candidate for Maldon

Early Life and Career Background

Pamela Walford, born in Colchester, spent part of her early years in Gibraltar, where her father served as a Royal Naval Captain. Upon returning to the Colchester area, Pamela worked locally before marrying a farmer and moving abroad. In 2009, she returned to Britain and took on the role of a companion and carer for a woman with Alzheimer's in Henley-on-Thames. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both those suffering from the disease and their caregivers.

Now retired, Pamela resides in Frinton-on-Sea.

Political Experience and Involvement

Pamela's political journey began early, as a member of the Young Conservatives, where she campaigned for Colchester MP Sir Antony Buck in 1969. She later served as a Conservative Colchester Borough Councillor from 1998 to 1999. After her return to Britain, Pamela was elected as a Conservative Councillor for Frinton and Walton Town Council in both 2017 and 2019. In her most recent campaign, the Clacton Gazette reported that she secured nearly more votes than all of her opponents combined, marking a decisive victory.

Transition to Reform UK

Like many, Pamela became disillusioned with the Conservative Party due to its inconsistency in delivering on promises. This frustration led her to join Reform UK, a party she believes will provide the consistency and reliability she has long sought in politics. Pamela is thrilled to have been selected as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for the Maldon constituency. Reform UK, according to Pamela, has given her hope that Britain can once again be a country where everyone can feel proud and safe, regardless of their background.

Dedication to the Maldon Constituency

Pamela is committed to representing the constituents of Maldon, promising to be accessible and attentive to their concerns. She is passionate about speaking up for truth and justice and vows to fight for the issues that matter most to the people of the region. From tighter immigration control to addressing the strain on the NHS caused by unchecked mass immigration, Pamela stands with Reform UK’s policies aimed at restoring order and security in Britain.

Advocacy for Vulnerable Groups and National Services

Pamela’s compassion extends to vulnerable adults and children, particularly those who suffer from mental or physical abuse due to family breakdowns or external threats. She also holds a deep respect for the men and women in the armed forces, recognizing the sacrifices they make to protect the United Kingdom. For Pamela, ensuring that these groups are adequately supported is a core part of her mission.

A Call for Change with Reform UK

Pamela believes that only Reform UK has the vision and determination to heal Britain’s fractured society. By supporting Reform UK and electing Pamela Walford as PPC for Maldon, constituents can trust in her commitment to bring about real and meaningful change. Pamela’s goal is to restore greatness to Britain, a place where safety, pride, and justice prevail.

By voting for Reform UK, Pamela urges the public to join her in making Britain great once again.
