Hello, I'm Simon Garvey, your prospective parliamentary candidate for Skipton and Ripon with Reform UK.
Growing up in the heart of Ripon, I embraced the values and traditions that define our unique Yorkshire culture. My deep connection to this community fuels my dedication to representing our local interests.
With a strong background in education, I spent seven years as a freelance school teacher. This experience inspired me to establish a business focused on enhancing education. We design, develop, and distribute software apps for schools and provide innovative lesson plans for teachers. Our services also include online tutoring for children and adults worldwide.
I entered politics because the Conservative Party no longer aligns with true conservative principles. My mission is to offer a genuine centre-right alternative on the general election ballot.
When Reform UK forms a government, my priority will be to modernize the UK's outdated education system. I am committed to resolving the teacher retention crisis within two years and transforming UK schools into global leaders in pupil inclusion and teacher innovation.
