A local resident through and through, Andrew was born in Oakworth and received his education at Oakworth Primary, Bronte Middle, and Oakbank School. Currently, he and his partner manage their family business in the garden and equine sectors, while Andrew also provides consultancy services in property remedial treatments.

A Passion for Community and Animals

  • Prohibiting HGV vehicles from using the Silsden to Ilkley route, promoting an "access only" policy to protect small towns.

  • Preventing the sale of Golden Butts HWRC, a critical resource for Ilkley residents, and exploring the possibility of private ownership for its reopening.

  • Ensuring that local councils listen to residents' concerns and respect their votes on key issues.

Commitment to Education and Community

As Chair of Governors, Andrew emphasizes the importance of engaging and rewarding education for young people. He believes that grassroots efforts are essential for addressing community issues and improving quality of life.

Addressing Crime and Safety

Andrew is committed to tackling crime and anti-social behavior, particularly drug crime and county line issues. He will advocate for a permanent police presence in Keighley, a town with a significant population and a need for accessible law enforcement.

Dedication and Service

Andrew's approach to public service is characterized by dedication and a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion. He is approachable and collaborates effectively with local organizations and communities.

A Vision for a Better Future
