Background and Education

Christopher Edmondson, a 59-year-old resident of Worcestershire, was born and raised in the area. He attended Malvern College from 1978 to 1983 and pursued higher education at Keele University, where he studied Law & Philosophy. He furthered his academic journey with an MSc in Real Estate & Management at Birmingham University.

Family Legacy and Business Ventures

Christopher’s family benefits from a long-standing legacy of land and property ownership, a result of his great-grandfather's acquisitions in the early 20th century. Christopher actively manages these assets and established a successful gardening business in the 1990s.

Political Engagement and Brexit Advocacy

Concerned about the trajectory of the European Union, Christopher joined UKIP in 2008. He played a significant role in campaigning for the 2008 European elections and subsequent campaigns. While he was initially thrilled by the 2016 Brexit referendum victory, he was disheartened by the refusal of many MPs to accept the result. The response in Westminster was disappointing, but Christopher was heartened by the resilience of the constitutional system that ultimately prevailed.

Vision for Brexit and Reform UK

Despite the progress made, Christopher believes that Brexit is not yet complete. He supports Reform UK’s goal of fully exiting the European Union by abolishing EU legislation and the Windsor Framework, which he believes separates Great Britain from Northern Ireland. He is critical of both Labour and Conservative parties for their roles in exacerbating issues related to immigration and failing to respect the public’s decision to leave the EU. Christopher advocates for Reform UK as the solution to these ongoing problems.
