Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson, a native of rural Oxfordshire, spent his formative years amidst the cozy ambiance of his family's village pub, where his parents were the beloved landlords. Raised alongside his two older brothers, Jackson harbored a childhood dream of serving in the military, a dream realized at the age of eighteen when he marched into Woolwich Barracks.

Having completed the rigorous All-Arms Commando Course and proudly donned his green beret, Jackson dedicated sixteen years of his life to serving at The Royal Citadel in Plymouth. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he returned to his roots and established a thriving tree surgery business, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit.

However, destiny beckoned him to the Middle East, where he spent nine years working in a professional capacity, forging lifelong connections and meeting his future wife. Eventually, the couple decided to return to the UK, where Jackson secured a contract with Network Rail, focusing on vegetation clearance. Their family expanded with the birth of their son, prompting a move to the Southwest to be closer to his wife's family.

Embracing his community with enthusiasm, Jackson immersed himself in local affairs, eventually assuming the role of Chairman on the Parish Council. A lifelong passion for politics, coupled with disillusionment with the traditional party system, propelled Jackson towards Reform UK. With its commitment to restoring integrity and prioritizing the nation's interests, Reform UK resonated deeply with Jackson's values.

As the Reform UK PPC for Torridge & Tavistock, Jackson pledges to advocate for:

• Strengthening Families
