Stephen Horner Biography, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for South West Devon

Stephen Horner, born and raised in Plymouth, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his community. He pursued his education in Plymouth and trained as a Merchant Navy Radio Officer, a role that laid the foundation for his diverse career.

Stephen's dedication to service is evident from his time in the Royal Air Force (RAF), where he served both in the UK and overseas. Additionally, he volunteered with the Royal Navy Auxiliary Service, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his country.

With a career spanning various roles in technology, Stephen has worked with both British and international companies, gaining valuable insights and expertise from around the world. His professional journey has equipped him with a global perspective and a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the UK.

Stephen is married and has a large family, including two grown-up children, two stepchildren, and numerous grandchildren. His love for Devon and his country drives his passion for making a difference.

Stephen is deeply frustrated with the mainstream parties, which he believes have failed to address the views, concerns, and needs of ordinary people, particularly those living outside the major metropolitan areas and the Westminster bubble. He is particularly concerned about the future of young people in Britain and is determined to leave a legacy of hope, happiness, and prosperity.
