Early Life and Family

Karl Beresford was born in Derbyshire and raised in Staffordshire, gaining a broader perspective on life over the years. Happily married to Jen, who frequently affirms their relationship, Karl is a proud father of eight children and a grandfather to six grandchildren.

Business Ventures and Relocation

Karl and Jen own a small business specializing in water engineering services for the Care Sector. They are in the process of relocating their home and business to Kidsgrove, aiming to build on their existing success and enhance their contributions to the community.

A Lifetime of Struggle and Resilience

Since leaving school at sixteen, Karl has faced a relentless struggle through various governmental administrations, which he feels have depleted the nation's resources, industries, social housing, and identity. As a young father of nineteen living in a Council flat, Karl worked three jobs daily to support his growing family, gaining firsthand experience of hardship and the drive to overcome poverty.

Political Experience and Commitment to Change

Karl’s political journey includes roles as Independent Chairman of his local Council and Chairman of his local Constituency Labour Party, a position he left when Corbyn became leader. He was also a Conservative party member but has since moved away from the party, believing that Britain needs genuine change. His most notable achievement was saving his local Miners Welfare Charity from closure, preserving essential community facilities such as youth clubs, social clubs, and sports teams.

Advocacy for Brexit and Reform UK

A staunch Brexiteer before the term even existed, Karl has grown disillusioned with the main political parties, which he believes fail to uphold democratic principles and the nation’s best interests. Frustrated by broken promises and ineffective representation from all major parties, Karl is now standing for Reform UK.

Supporting Real Change

Karl encourages voters to move beyond the empty promises of traditional parties and support Reform UK for real change. He invites everyone to get involved by joining, volunteering, or campaigning and to vote for policies that truly address the needs of Great Britain.
