Stephen Broadhurst is proud to serve as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for Macclesfield, a role he approaches with great enthusiasm. As a lifelong resident of Macclesfield, Stephen’s deep connection to the area fuels his passion for representing the community and working toward meaningful change.

A Lifelong Macclesfield Resident

Born and raised in Macclesfield, Stephen attended local schools and has remained in the area, currently residing near the iconic Hovis Mill and the canal. His fond memories of growing up in the town include enjoying the lively pubs, nightclubs, and the vibrant town center that once made Macclesfield a thriving hub of activity. Stephen also spent many years working at BAe Woodford, a role that ended when the facility was closed under David Cameron’s Conservative government.

A Dedication to Local Service and Business

Stephen’s commitment to the Macclesfield community extends beyond his residency. He has been elected twice as a Borough Councillor, where he worked hard to make a positive impact on the town. In addition to his public service, Stephen has also owned several businesses in Macclesfield, contributing to the local economy and creating opportunities for others.
