Peter Shields Biography for Henley and Thame
Peter Shields, 53, is a dedicated father of four and husband. His journey began in Manchester, followed by a move to Cambridgeshire for three years, ten years in Bradford, and a decade in Oxfordshire. Professionally, Peter started as a statistical analyst in the insurance sector before transitioning to youth and children’s work within the voluntary sector. Currently, he balances his role in retail with establishing his own transport business.
A Passionate Advocate for Change
Peter is driven by his Northern roots, Christian faith, and activist spirit. He is deeply concerned about the current state of the nation and believes that Reform offers a crucial opportunity to halt the decline. His political stance can be summarized as follows: a freedom fighter, proud patriot, free market advocate, social conservative, Christian traditionalist, political populist, climate realist, and cultural traditionalist. Essentially, he embodies the values traditionally associated with conservatism.
Campaigning for Core Values
Peter has actively campaigned for Brexit, opposed COVID-19 restrictions, and supported free speech. He believes that unity is more valuable than diversity and argues that a shared culture fosters social cohesion while multiculturalism can undermine it. To him, the real climate crisis is the climate of hysteria, and he champions the importance of strong families, sacred marriage, and the value of children. Peter advocates for a society where motherhood is promoted over mass immigration, and the role of the state is to serve its citizens, not the other way around.
Call for Support
Peter emphasizes that the nation's challenges require more than just political solutions; they need divine intervention and a return to Christian values as the foundation of culture and civilization. He urges voters not to be deceived by traditional parties or their promises but to support Reform for genuine change. Despite the challenges, he is optimistic about Reform’s potential to succeed in Henley & Thame. He welcomes your vote and any support you can offer, whether it be time or financial contributions, to help drive the campaign forward.
