Background and Experience

Kevan Chippindall-Higgin has called South East Hampshire home since relocating from London in 1989. His diverse career spans multiple industries, and he is proficient in both French and German. Kevan has actively contributed to his community through his roles on the Portsmouth Twinning Committee and his ongoing involvement with blue light twinning.

Volunteer Work and Community Involvement

Kevan is a dedicated member of RAYNET, the voluntary emergency communications network, and 4x4 Response, which provides crucial support during adverse weather conditions and emergencies such as major water main bursts. His commitment to aiding those in need reflects his broader concern for victims beyond the immediate scope of crime or accidents.

Advocacy for Victims and Critique of Government Policy

Kevan’s perspective on victimhood extends to those struggling due to governmental mismanagement over the years. He highlights the plight of individuals unable to meet basic needs like mortgage payments, energy bills, and food costs due to government incompetence. He also points to inadequate access to essential services such as quality education and healthcare, which citizens have paid for but are failing to receive.

Call for Reform

Concerned about the uncontrolled government spending, taxing, and borrowing, Kevan critiques the current state of civil service and legal action against government policies. He draws a parallel to the post-WW2 era, noting that tax levels are now comparable to those of a time burdened by both an Empire and immense war debts.

Kevan has been selected to represent Reform UK in Fareham and Waterlooville. He believes that Reform UK offers sensible policies that address the grievances of victims and initiate meaningful change. He calls upon supporters to join him in this pivotal journey toward restoring common sense and accountability in governance.
