Trevor Nicholls Biography, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Warrington North

Trevor Nicholls, a lifelong resident of Warrington, understands the heartbeat of our town. Born and raised here, Trevor has witnessed firsthand the many changes, both good and bad, that have shaped our community since the establishment of Warrington New Town in the 70s.

In 2015, Trevor stood for parliament, and since then, the population of Warrington has surged to 210,000. Despite this growth, our hospital facilities remain unchanged and woefully inadequate for our expanding community.

Trevor is committed to addressing this disparity. As your MP, he will tirelessly advocate for a new hospital in Warrington—an essential project previously agreed upon by the Conservatives but later shelved.

Trevor's vision for Warrington extends beyond healthcare. He is determined to hold the council accountable for its financial mismanagement, demanding transparency on the staggering £1.8 billion debt burdening our town. This debt crisis must be addressed urgently.

Infrastructure is another key area where Trevor sees the need for significant reform. While the council has made minor improvements, such as building a new road from Wilson Patten Street to Chester Road to ease congestion, they have simultaneously approved the construction of 700 new houses, exacerbating traffic and strain on services.

Trevor believes Warrington deserves better. We need an MP who prioritizes our constituents, someone who is always present, accountable, and fully aware of our issues. Trevor promises to be that representative—dedicated to the needs of Warrington North.

Trevor’s reform agenda includes:

  • Healthcare Reform: Fighting for a new, fully-equipped hospital in Warrington.
  • Debt Reform: Ensuring full transparency and management of the town’s £1.8 billion debt.
  • Infrastructure Reform: Improving and planning infrastructure that meets our growing needs.
  • Housing Reform: Advocating for sensible housing policies that do not overburden our infrastructure.

Warrington North needs a change. Your country needs Reform UK.
