Les recognizes Swindon’s historical significance as a leading manufacturing town and is committed to restoring its former glory. If elected, he plans to collaborate with Swindon Council to promote the resurgence of skilled manufacturing. Reviving the Town Centre

The town centre shopping area of Swindon has suffered from a decline in foot traffic. Les aims to work with the local council to rejuvenate this area by attracting new, smaller shops. He also proposes introducing free parking in the town centre, a strategy that has proven effective in out-of-town shopping areas, to encourage more shoppers to visit.
