Michael Riley, a former member of HM Armed Forces with a decade-long service, transitioned to the Ministry of Justice, culminating his career as an operational governor grade. Recently recognized as a published author under The Endless Bookcase, his debut biography, 'Not the Life of Riley,' delves into his personal journey spanning over two decades within HM Prison Service.

Residing and contributing to the Stafford community since 2000, initially as a deputy governor, Riley has keenly observed the evolving landscape of our neighborhoods. Amidst governmental changes, he acknowledges the shared hardships endured over the years.

Motivated by a desire to enact change rather than being a career politician, Riley seized the opportunity to stand as a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for Reform UK in the Stafford constituency, successfully securing the position two years ago.

Embracing a commitment to serve constituents, Riley, an advocate for Reform UK's policies outlined in the comprehensive document, "Our Contract with You," envisions a path towards revitalizing his constituency and the nation at large.
