Ben Jackson

Early Life and Education

Ben Jackson was born and raised in Louth, Lincolnshire. He received his education at Caistor Grammar School, where he completed his A-levels. Pursuing higher education, Ben graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Computer Science. This degree marked the beginning of his career in IT. After several years working in Leeds and later in London, Ben returned to his roots in Lincolnshire in 2014, where he now resides just outside Lincoln. He currently serves as a computer network engineer at the University of Lincoln.

Political Engagement and Brexit Advocacy

In line with his strong convictions, Ben voted to leave the European Union, expecting that politicians would implement this decision without hesitation. However, the lack of action from the political class prompted him to join the Brexit Party in 2019. He actively campaigned during the European Parliament elections, which resulted in a decisive victory for the party. Ben continued his efforts during the 2019 general election.

Commitment to Conservative and Libertarian Values

Despite initial hopes for stability and prosperity under Boris Johnson's leadership, Ben found that outcomes did not meet expectations. Consequently, he sought a platform with Reform UK to ensure voters have a choice of a candidate who genuinely upholds conservative and libertarian values. Ben is committed to:

• Maximizing the Benefits of Brexit: Advocating for a clear departure from EU regulations and establishing an independent path for the UK.

• Championing Free Market Economics: Believing that free market principles are the most effective route to prosperity, and that excessive state control leads to poverty and hardship.

• Protecting Liberty and Freedoms: Defending hard-won liberties and freedoms, with a particular focus on safeguarding freedom of speech, which he views as both invaluable and under threat.
