From the iconic Medbourne-Hallaton bottlekicking on Easter Mondays to the exhilarating local point-to-point races, Chris has actively participated in and cherished these community events throughout his life.

Having volunteered extensively with elderly and disabled individuals, Chris values community cohesion, which he believes is increasingly threatened by current national policies. He has witnessed firsthand the strain on services and businesses, exacerbating the challenges faced by towns and villages.

Drawing from his experience advocating for rural interests in Brussels, Chris is a staunch advocate for sensible countryside policies. He hoped Brexit would alleviate pressures from stringent European regulations but laments the unchecked development of projects like the Mallard Pass Solar Farm, which threaten local landscapes.

Educated as a motorsport engineer, Chris opposes what he views as impractical urban-centric policies such as ULEZ regulations and speed restrictions, which he argues disproportionately burden working-class communities. He is committed to protecting Rutland's small businesses by proposing tax relief for them and imposing fair taxes on larger corporations.
