At 40, Danuta pursued a teaching degree and has since dedicated herself to educating students across Leicestershire and the East Midlands. Her current role involves teaching ESOL to adult learners from diverse backgrounds, a profession she finds deeply rewarding. Danuta's commitment to education and her passion for supporting people from all walks of life underscore her dedication to meaningful change.

Disillusioned with Mainstream Politics

In October 2022, Danuta joined Reform UK, driven by her frustration with the current state of British politics. Her disenchantment with the Tory Party, where she had been a member for many years, stemmed from its increasingly undemocratic practices and disregard for the public's will. The party's failure to deliver on Brexit promises and its disregard for manifesto commitments on issues like immigration and public services further fueled her decision to seek change through Reform UK.

Concerns Over Educational Policies and Values

With over 25 years of experience in both secondary and adult education, Danuta has witnessed the erosion of core British values in the classroom. She is particularly concerned about the sexualization of young minds through controversial teaching on gender recognition. Her observations of left-wing bias and the removal of common sense from educational policies have reinforced her commitment to advocating for traditional values and educational integrity.

Advocacy for Pension Equality and Free Speech

As a member of WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality), Danuta is passionate about addressing the injustices faced by women born in the 1950s due to flawed pension reforms. Her fight for pension equality reflects her broader commitment to social justice. Additionally, Danuta is determined to combat the stifling of free speech in today's politically charged climate, where expressing traditional views can lead to backlash and even legal consequences.
