Emma Guy Biography for Mid Cheshire

A Champion for Reform and Community

Emma Guy is a dedicated advocate for political reform, driven by the belief that neither of the two main parties can address the issues plaguing the country after 25 years of decline. She contends that the existing political landscape is incapable of enacting the necessary changes, making this an ideal time for the introduction of Reform.

Longstanding Commitment to Local Issues

Having lived and worked in Northwich for nearly 35 years, Emma has a deep-rooted commitment to her community. Since 2001, she has been actively involved in local politics, serving on the Lostock Gralam Parish Council and campaigning with CHAIN against the proposed Incinerator on Griffiths Lane. Her dedication to local causes highlights her enduring focus on improving her community.

Acclaimed Business Leader and Award Winner

Emma Guy currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Aqueous Digital, a Runcorn-based business. Her exceptional contributions to the company were recognized in November 2022 when she received the Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year award at the Crème de la Crème Cheshire Business Awards. Additionally, she was honored with the Community ReAwards 2023 – Impact award for her charitable efforts and the Butterfly Breast Cancer Awards – Transformed Life Award 2023.

Leadership in Charitable Organizations

Beyond her business achievements, Emma plays a significant role in the charitable sector. She serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Halton Haven Hospice and is an ambassador for Prevent Breast Cancer, underscoring her commitment to both community service and charitable work.

Personal Resilience and Advocacy

Emma's personal journey has also been marked by resilience. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, she underwent a mastectomy and reconstruction, leading to early onset menopause. Her experience is detailed in her bestselling 2021 book, Wisdoms of the Menopausal Godmother, where she shares her insights and challenges.

Family Life

Emma has been happily married to Jonathan for 18 years, and together they have three children. Her family life remains a cornerstone of her personal happiness and stability.
