As a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driver, Matt witnessed the challenges drivers face in the industry, including the penalties imposed on them. Matt proudly served in the Royal Air Force (RAF), where he developed exceptional leadership abilities and a commitment to excellence. Born in Mansfield's Kings Mill Hospital and raised in Blidworth, Matt attended Joseph Whitaker School before joining the RAF at 19. His deep connection to Mansfield fuels his dedication to its future. For years, he has worked tirelessly to serve the town, striving to uphold its core values and make it a better place for families to live, work, and thrive.
