Tom Carter Biography, Parliamentary Candidate for Glastonbury and Somerton

Tom Carter, a lifelong resident of Glastonbury, has dedicated his life to serving both his country and his community. After a distinguished career in the British Army, he returned home to teach and raise his family. Over the past 25 years, Tom has witnessed a significant decline in the state of the nation under both Conservative and Labour governments. As he prepares to pass this country on to his three sons and future generations, Tom reflects on the current state of affairs with concern.

The Burden of Excessive Taxation and Government Mismanagement

Tom Carter highlights the unprecedented tax burden faced by citizens today, questioning the effectiveness of how these taxes are being utilized. He believes that the misuse of taxpayer money is a serious issue that demands public outrage. According to Tom, the country must break free from the constraints of traditional two-party politics, which have failed to address the needs of working people and the poorest in society.
