William Wright Biography, Parliamentary Candidate for Folkestone and Hythe

Meet William Wright, a dedicated father of four with a wealth of life experience. At 62 years old, William has spent the majority of his life residing and working in the UK, except for brief stints in Norway and Qatar. With a career spanning over four decades, he has held various roles, demonstrating his commitment to hard work and service.

Currently, William serves as a part-time Ambulance Care Assistant with the Red Cross, where his passion for helping others shines through. However, his journey into politics stems from a deep-rooted belief in the need for change in the UK's political landscape.

In the 2019 elections, like many others, William cast his vote for Boris Johnson's Conservatives. Yet, disillusioned by what he perceives as a lack of distinction between the major parties and their policies, he now seeks an alternative. He sees both Conservative and Labour parties as proponents of excessive taxation and authoritarianism, neglecting the needs of the working class.

Enter Reform UK, offering a refreshing alternative grounded in personal freedoms, reduced taxes, and sensible immigration policies. William firmly believes in Reform UK's vision of revitalizing the economy post-Covid and leveraging Brexit opportunities for growth. He advocates for restoring law and order, reforming healthcare, and combatting "wokeism" in education.

Driven by his convictions and a desire for change, William is enthusiastic about representing Reform UK in Folkestone and Hythe. With a steadfast commitment to his principles, he aims to bring about tangible improvements for his community and the country at large.
