With years of active involvement in local politics, including serving as a councillor for the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham from 1998 to 2002, Tristram brings valuable experience and insight to his candidacy. Having lived in East Kent and worked internationally as an in-house solicitor, his career has taken him to The Netherlands for seven years and China for nearly four years (2013-2016). His global exposure gives him a unique perspective on solving local issues with innovative, world-informed solutions.
Personal Life and Hobbies
Tristram is a devoted husband and father, with two children currently attending university and a small terrier as part of the family. In his free time, he is a competitive swimmer, training with a club three times a week, and enjoys both open-water and indoor swimming. A keen cyclist, he has completed several long-distance rides, including a recent journey from Newcastle to Edinburgh. Tristram also regularly visits family in the United States but cherishes his travels around the United Kingdom to connect with loved ones across the nation.
