Clare Fawcett Biography, Parliamentary Candidate for Eastleigh

About Clare Fawcett

With 13 years of residency in Eastleigh and three years in the town center, Clare is deeply committed to her community.

As a taxpayer, Clare has grown increasingly disillusioned with the quality of public services provided by the Council and its stakeholders. If elected, she is determined to cut through unnecessary bureaucracy and red tape to enhance the services delivered by the Council, which she believes have been declining year after year.

Clare’s career has provided her with valuable insights into public service and governance. She worked for nearly five years at Omega House with the NHS, supporting a Clinical Commissioning Group Board and handling Freedom of Information requests. Her experience includes a stint at Prysmian in 2015, where she assisted the CEO and Senior Management Team during a significant Trade and Industry visit.

In her role at a large financial services organization in Southampton, Clare chaired the UK Employee Forum, representing thousands of employees. Additionally, she led a Leaseholder Action Group advocating for essential reforms in Leasehold law.

With practical experience across public sector organizations, manufacturing, social enterprises, and financial services, Clare is well-equipped to represent her community as a Councillor and Member of Parliament.

If you’re seeking meaningful change and feel disillusioned with the main parties, consider voting for Clare Fawcett and Reform UK. What do you have to lose?

A Vision for Improved Services

Clare is dedicated to ensuring that taxpayers receive value for their money. Her vision includes everything from timely waste collection to revitalizing a town center that has unfortunately deteriorated into a collection of vacant units. Clare believes that residents deserve more from their Council than what is currently being provided.

Addressing Safety Concerns

One of Clare’s major concerns is the rising levels of violent crime, anti-social behavior, and drug dealing in the area. She is particularly troubled by the closure of the local police station, which not only served as a crucial resource but also acted as a deterrent against crime. Clare believes that a visible police presence is essential for community safety, rather than a remote office requiring appointments.
