This ambitious goal would save the country £50 billion per year, which could be redirected to reducing the tax burden on citizens and reinvested in Britain's future.

Lowering Taxes and Putting Money Back in Your Pocket

Craig is committed to alleviating the financial strain on the residents of Mole Valley, where the average salary is £35,240 per year. By reducing wasteful government spending, Craig plans to lower taxes for all. His proposals include raising the minimum tax threshold from £12,571 to £20,000 per year, saving the average taxpayer £30 per week.

Further, Craig supports removing VAT on energy bills, saving households £100 annually, and eliminating environmental levies, providing an additional £160 in savings per household. He also advocates for lowering fuel duty by 20p per litre, saving £240 per year for drivers, and reducing VAT from 20% to 18%, which would save households £300 annually. For businesses, Craig proposes lifting the corporation tax threshold to £100,000, which would free over 80% of small and medium-sized enterprises from paying this tax, empowering growth and job creation.
