Richard Pearse is honored to be the Reform UK parliamentary candidate for Weston-Super-Mare, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to public service. Raised in the West Country by a single mother in social housing, Richard's upbringing instilled in him strong values of family loyalty, education, hard work, and patriotism.
Richard's journey began with remarkable achievements at a young age, including completing the 'All Arms Commando Course' and serving with 29 Commando RA in Plymouth, earning his 'Green Beret'. His diverse career path after military service included roles as a rural postman, night shift baker, and taxi driver, which provided him invaluable insights into community needs and public service.
Driven by a passion for learning and service, Richard earned his first degree in Business & Accountancy from the University of Exeter, followed by an MBA and PhD training in management. His transition to the financial services sector allowed him to apply his academic insights to benefit small businesses and individuals, earning him recognition as a 'Fellow' of the Institute of Consultancy and a 'Chartered Manager and Fellow' of the Chartered Management Institute before retiring early at 55.
Richard's motivation stems from a deep commitment to his country and its people, advocating for individual independence, strong work ethics, and accountability in government. He believes that current political parties have failed to address critical issues in Housing, the NHS, Defence, Education, and Energy effectively, prompting his candidacy to bring about much-needed reform.
As the Reform UK candidate, Richard Pearse is dedicated to reshaping the political landscape, offering a vision of transparency, accountability, and ethical governance.
