Currently, he works as a writer, authoring books on military topics and critiquing the concept of net zero. His writings have appeared in various publications, and he maintains a blog. To support himself, he also drives an articulated lorry.

Although Benham-Crosswell was not born in Wales, he has long harbored plans to relocate there. However, career demands and the impact of COVID-19 have delayed his move. He is actively working towards this goal and is committed to learning Welsh in the future.
