Stuart Marchant Biography, Parliamentary Candidate for Mid and South Pembrokeshire
Stuart Marchant, born Stuart James Marchant in Croydon in January 1981, spent his formative years in Orpington, Kent. His educational journey took him through Darrick Wood Secondary School and Orpington College. Stuart's father, a London native, served as a police officer, while his mother, originally from Carmarthen, pursued a career in teaching.
During his college years, Stuart gained early work experience as a checkout operator at Tesco before transitioning to a retail role at PC World upon completing his studies. In September 2001, he ventured into the private parking sector, where his dedication quickly earned him promotions.
In 2005, Stuart embraced an opportunity to work in Wales, a move that resonated with his Welsh roots through his mother's heritage. After several years in Swansea, he returned to the South East in 2008 to manage a substantial portfolio of car parks.
Throughout his career, Stuart has held diverse roles, fostering collaborative efforts and achieving notable milestones by 2020. Presently, he operates a small business near Carmarthen, actively engaging with the local community.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Stuart is a passionate traveler, exploring global destinations to deepen his cultural awareness. He also enjoys occasional hockey games and has recently begun learning Para-gliding.
Stuart's political journey commenced in 2009 with the Conservative Party, though earlier this year, he realigned himself with the Reform Party. Advocating for the benefits of Brexit, Stuart believes South West Wales stands to gain significantly from this historic decision and sees Reform UK as pivotal in realizing these opportunities.
