Jamie Orange Biography for Clwyd North

Kirsty Walmsley serves as the National Campaign Manager for Reform UK in Wales and is proud to be the selected parliamentary candidate for Clwyd East. With a strong commitment to her community, Kirsty is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in her role.

A Deep Connection to Wales

Educated at Llanfyllin High School, Kirsty developed a foundational understanding of the beautiful Welsh language. Now residing in Llangollen, she cherishes the fond childhood memories of her youth. Kirsty is married to Jonathon, and together they have two children, Emily and Isaac. She hopes her children will enjoy the same simple pleasures she did, such as picnics and paddling in the River Dee.

Real-World Experience and Political Insight

Kirsty believes her blend of real-world and political experience uniquely positions her as an excellent advocate for Clwyd East. Beginning her career in her family’s carpet and flooring business, she later launched her own furniture business. Her experience as a parent fuels her passion for children, family, and education, themes she highlighted in keynote speeches at Reform UK's first two national conferences. Additionally, Kirsty has gained valuable political insight by working behind the scenes for three Members of Parliament as a caseworker, where she learned how to effectively resolve issues—a key aspect of being a local MP.

Compassionate Politics for Everyday Lives

For Kirsty, politics transcends academic debates; it is deeply personal and impacts individuals' everyday lives. She is a compassionate advocate committed to supporting individuals, the community, and the country at large.

Kirsty urges voters to consider her candidacy on July 4th, promising to demonstrate the positive difference a Reform UK MP can make in Clwyd East.
