Hamish Haddow, the Reform Party Spokesman for the Chipping Barnet Constituency, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his community. Raised in Kent and having lived in both South Africa and Zimbabwe, Hamish possesses a broad and diverse perspective. He holds a Business Degree and has dedicated thirty years to IT Management, earning numerous industry qualifications along the way.
Currently residing in Hertfordshire, near Chipping Barnet, Hamish lives with his wife and their three children. His active involvement in the local community includes membership in the local Rugby club, participation in the PCC, and various charity endeavors. Hamish's personal vision is to leave the country in a better state for future generations, aspiring to continue the legacy left by his grandparents.
With a family background rooted in Conservative values—his father was a Conservative Councillor for Holborn—Hamish has traditionally supported the Tories. However, he now feels that the Conservative Party no longer represents his patriotic and conservative principles, believing they have failed to improve Great Britain during their 13 years in power. This sense of betrayal fuels his call for change, emphasizing the need for reform to restore the nation's greatness.
