Ian Eglin Biography for Bradford South

Ian Eglin is a Procurement and Commercial Manager with over 35 years of experience in West Yorkshire's manufacturing sector. Living in Bradford for over three decades, he is married with two grown children. Despite no prior political involvement, Ian was compelled to step into politics to offer an alternative to the dominant parties' agendas, which he views as overly focused on politically correct issues and restrictive to ordinary citizens' concerns.

His political priorities center around fostering economic growth in Northern England through business incentives, improved transport infrastructure, and support for manufacturing. Ian advocates for the rights of the silent majority, emphasizing issues like reducing taxes, controlling immigration, and curbing unnecessary government spending. He is critical of the mainstream focus on net zero policies and gender debates, believing these distract from more pressing economic and societal issues affecting everyday Britons.

Beyond his professional life, Ian enjoys activities such as Park Runs, dog walking, and motorcycling. He is committed to representing Reform UK, aiming to halt what he perceives as the UK's gradual decline in economy, freedoms, and cultural heritage.

Vote for Ian Eglin and Reform UK to support a new direction for the UK's future prosperity and freedom.
