Nora Kamberi Biography for Birmingham Yardley

Her journey from single motherhood to a prominent political figure highlights her commitment to public service and her deep understanding of the struggles faced by ordinary people.

Overcoming Personal Challenges

After the birth of her third child, Nora found herself as a single mother, unsupported and solely responsible for her children's care, development, and education. Her firsthand experience of financial hardship has shaped her resolve to fight for those who are struggling to make ends meet.

Educational and Career Pursuits

In her quest for financial stability, Nora pursued a part-time course in accounting over three years, aiming to enhance her career prospects. She began her career as a part-time care assistant with Springfield Care, later transitioning to an accounting administrator role at ALB Ltd. Since 2017, Nora has been employed as a financial advisor at Barclays Bank, where she continues to excel.

A Vision Against Government Mismanagement

Nora’s experiences growing up in Albania, where government institutions exercised extreme control over civil society, instilled in her a desire to protect the freedoms enjoyed in the UK. She is deeply concerned about the current Conservative government's handling of Brexit, economic mismanagement, and the impact of repeated lockdowns on children's mental health. Nora is critical of the government’s failure to control illegal migration, manage the pandemic’s financial fallout, and its pursuit of Net Zero policies, which she believes are exacerbating the cost of living crisis and threatening British manufacturing jobs.

Opposition to Central Bank Digital Currency

Nora strongly opposes the introduction of a central bank digital currency, fearing it would grant the government excessive control over every aspect of citizens’ lives. She is also concerned about the lack of open debate on the implications of Net Zero-related projects like "15-minute cities."

Commitment to Reform UK’s Vision

Nora joined Reform UK because of its commitment to rapid economic growth and common-sense energy policies aimed at addressing the cost of living and reducing high energy prices. She supports Reform UK's plans to reform the NHS, education, and policing, and to scrap Net Zero.

A Call for Systemic Change

Nora believes that it is time to "fix the system" and make urgently needed changes. As a candidate in the General Election for Northfield and Birmingham Yardley, she aims to represent the people and work towards saving Britain, ensuring that future generations enjoy the same civil liberties, educational and financial opportunities, and quality of life that past generations have benefited from.
