Gary Johnson, a longtime resident of the Uckfield area, boasts a 30-year marriage and is a proud parent of two grown children, with a granddaughter adding to the family joy. Amidst the chaos of family life, his attempts to master the guitar have spanned fifty years, often thwarted by the indifference of his three Scottish Terriers.

Gary's journey from state education to successful entrepreneurship reflects his belief in hard work and determination. For thirteen years, he and his wife owned and managed a thriving care business in Sussex. His dedication to public service is evident in his tenure as a Conservative District Councillor for Wealden from 2019 to 2023 and his diverse volunteer experiences, including stints as an army reservist, RNLI crew member, and Special Constable.

Driven by a desire for genuine change, Gary is now taking a bold step into politics as a candidate for the Reform Party. Frustrated by the status quo of mainstream politics, he advocates for radical reforms to address pressing issues facing the UK.
