Lionel Harman has been a committed resident of the Worthing area for the past 25 years. Over the last decade, he has devoted his free time to serving the local community, including an impressive 8-year tenure as a Worthing Borough Councillor. During his time as councillor, Lionel had the privilege of serving as the Worthing Mayor for two years, guiding the town through the challenging COVID-19 pandemic with steadfast leadership.
A Proud Advocate for Armed Forces Personnel and Veterans
As a veteran of the Royal Navy, Lionel is passionate about supporting the Armed Forces community. He proudly served as the Borough’s Armed Forces Champion for three years, advocating for local service personnel and veterans. Today, Lionel continues his work with several local associations, supporting those who have served our country. His dedication to this cause is one of the driving forces behind his decision to stand as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Reform UK in the East Worthing and Shoreham constituency.
