Realizing the potential for entrepreneurship, John established his own business over 30 years ago. Today, his family-run practice thrives under the management of his two sons, both qualified accountants, with John's experienced guidance as needed.

John is a proud father of five accomplished children and a doting grandfather to six. Beyond his professional achievements, he dedicates his spare time to volunteering for MIND Hertfordshire, leading a singing group for retirees in North Hertfordshire's University of the Third Age, and actively participating in the local Chamber of Commerce. Honored with The Freedom of the City of London, John also has a history of volunteering with Cambridge Samaritans and enjoys singing both for leisure and professionally.

Though new to politics, John, at the age of 66, felt compelled to move beyond being a 'keyboard warrior' and take active steps to effect change.
