Ian Collier Biography for Brent West

Ian Collier is the Reform Party’s parliamentary candidate for the newly established constituency of Brent West. A lifelong resident of Brent, Ian has dedicated 73 years to his community. His educational journey began in Willesden and Kilburn, culminating in a mathematics and economics degree from the University of Sussex in 1972.

A Lifelong Brent Resident with Deep Community Roots

Ian’s personal and professional life is deeply intertwined with Brent. He married in Kingsbury and has raised three children, all of whom attended local schools. His family now includes eight grandchildren, continuing the tradition of local engagement.

Active Community Member and Enthusiastic Sports Supporter

Ian has been a dedicated member of the Woodcock Park Bowling Club for 35 years, serving as its president for two of those years. His passion for sports extends to football and cricket, with Ian being a loyal supporter of Chelsea FC and Middlesex CCC. His interests also include child care and domiciliary care businesses, reflecting his commitment to community and family values.

A Committed Reform Advocate

Having joined Reform UK over eighteen months ago, Ian Collier's commitment to conservative values has been a guiding principle throughout his life. Disappointed by the Conservative Party’s deviation from these core principles, Ian found Reform UK to be aligned with his beliefs. He values the practical insights of ordinary people, like those in Reform UK, over the career politicians prevalent in other parties.
