Ian Collier Biography, Parliamentary Candidate for Brent West
Ian Collier, a passionate advocate for conservative values, proudly represents Reform UK as their parliamentary candidate for Brent West. With a lifelong dedication to his community, Ian brings over 73 years of local insight and commitment to his candidacy.
Born and raised in Brent, Ian has deep roots in the area, having attended schools in Willesden and Kilburn, and later marrying in Kingsbury. He holds a degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Sussex, graduating in 1972, and is a qualified actuary by profession.
Ian's strong family ties are evident through his three children, all educated in Brent, and his eight grandchildren, who further connect him to the community's future.
Beyond his professional and family life, Ian is an active member of the Woodcock Park Bowling Club, where he served as president for two years. His love for sports extends to football and cricket, where he passionately supports Chelsea FC and Middlesex CCC.
Ian also invests in community welfare through his involvement in a Child Care business and a Domiciliary Care business, reflecting his deep-rooted commitment to improving local services.
Joining Reform UK over eighteen months ago, Ian was drawn to its philosophy of championing ordinary people over career politicians. He believes in restoring conservative principles that he feels have been neglected by other political parties, including the so-called Conservative Party.
Ian Collier stands as a testament to integrity and community spirit, offering Brent West voters a dedicated representative committed to their values and aspirations.
