Dan Barker Biography for Blackpool North and Fleetwood
Dan Barker is honored to stand as Reform UK’s parliamentary candidate for the Blackpool North & Fleetwood General Election on Thursday, 4th July.
In his late 40s, Dan is a family man, married with two grown-up children. He is self-employed in the civil nuclear and defense sectors. Outside of his professional life, Dan dedicates his time to public service as a Magistrate.
Dan is not a career politician. He identifies with the silent majority and entered the political arena out of frustration with politicians across all parties who, he believes, are diminishing the country's freedoms under the guise of political correctness, net zero initiatives, and other agendas.
Dan joined Reform UK because he feels it is the only party addressing the real issues that matter to everyday people. His campaign focuses on:
- The impact of mass immigration on housing and public services
- The crisis of illegal boat crossings in the channel
- Tackling the cost of living crisis
- Making work rewarding and encouraging employment
- Fixing the NHS
- Ending the pursuit of Net Zero policies
Dan asserts that after nearly three decades of governance by Labour and the Conservatives, the country is in disrepair. He believes voting for Reform UK is essential to save Britain.
